Lesson number one in TPP

Here is the situation. I'm in a token race and Newinnov is to my left, he just took a hefty hit on a less then spectacular hand and this is what I wake up to. Now the object here is simply to finish 5th place or better so why would you make this call King Tommy? Well here is my thinking.

  1. I'm behind probably to at least one pair.
  2. I'm behind probably at least one high pair.
  3. I've got s00ted semi connected cards which can result in the best flush of all.
  4. I probably will lose which will send me packing pretty much.
  5. If I do suck out and win, I will be set for the tournament more then likely. (I think some people call this implied odds)
  6. Boys and girls in trailer parks everywhere need a hero and I'm him! Do it for them! You can WIN!
Well, I lost. LOL But I did catch two spades on the flop ;) Bet he was sweatin that shit!
So ends lesson number one in Trailer Park Poker. Always pay attention to the size of the pot when you have sucakalicious hands.

Take care, T2T
