Oh my gawd, again?!?!

So since last Friday night I've just had some terrible variance. Last night I even spewed more then I should have not stopping at 2 buy ins and even playing at a higher lvl doubling my losses basically. So I'm not going to include that shit, just the my normal stakes but check out my luck with aces and ak since Friday....

So there ya have it. Oh man... Hard to post, but there it is... GD it frustrating to say the least.

Well last night I made a mistake where I hit the call button on accident to a bet half my stack which was an all in. That started things off on a sour note. From there I proceeded to run AA into Q4.... You know, I recken I could have just tried to take this guy up bit by bit, but to be honest I knew he'd call, he was the biggest station I've seen. I played 150 hands with him tonight and he was 56/2 lol. GOD a frustrating player no less though as he continually called me when I had nothing but AK high... Ahh well..

That sucked obviously. From there I ran semi decent for 500 more hands and ended up down a buyin and a little over half. The day before, I did great though up 2.5 buyins. For the month I'm still doing good as well. Heres the numbers.

Tough night

Well, mediocre anyways.

I went back and looked at my hands, I made some poor decisions for the most part calling with qq's or have to fold cowboys on aq high flow with a lot invested. I managed to pull through and post positive, but it was difficult maintaining my composure.

Struggling with playing through the beats. I am takin advice from Treblehook though and trying to treat each and every hand equally and play them as its your most important hand ever.

Ahh well, heres the numbers!

Tuesday Results

After class tonight, we all went out to eat and didn't get back till like 9pm.. I need to hit the rack by 11 so didn't get much playtime in tonight. Got bout 45 min in bef0re and 1.9hr after.

Did ok. The results were ok I would like to paste some of the bad hands I played poorly. But I did get in with a set of kings and a set of aces on the same guy within 5 hands lol. That surely helped. Anyways here is the numbers...

So, once again I'm starting back up at my cash game grind.

On pokerstars, not so sure why as there is no rakeback, but I've decided to concentrate on building a bankroll before all. To include the rake. So far this week I've put in a measly 2k hands or so, but here are my Poker tracker stats and Poker EV's for the week.

I'll post em daily if I can along with hand histories. Course we'll see, never really kept up all that well before!

Oh, BTW I'm up in Tonawanda NY this next two weeks so if any around there gunna try hit Niagara Falls this weekend.

Still playing where I shouldn't be

So last night I decided to continue my donkish behavior by playing more .10/.25. I don't know why, but I feel like I've been doing well at this particular lvl. The sample size is way too small <500 hands still but the game has just seemed soft with people in there who really don't know how to play just pushing with shit. But who the hell am I, LOL?

Ok so now I am tripping. The very next hand I had p10 and stacked a short stack for 7 bucks which calmed me down and let me realize that somewhere along the way my tag breaker had become tripped so I went to the fridge grabbed another beer and reset the tag breaker vowing to settle down and recover some money against these donkeys. So last night after splashing around quite unsuccessfully on stars I was a lil irate, not really steaming but was like ya know ef' this I'm going to take the remaining 15 bucks I've left on UB and drop it all on a .10/.25 table. Well once again I am put in the position of making the, yeah I haven't posted in a while post but, post. So we'll dispense with the formalities of explaining to my loving and enthusiastic audience about how I've been so busy and how I've been rocking and rolling in poker. Probably all bullshit anyways, huh? We will dispense with that and we will focus more upon what really has been going on in my life.

First off, since April, I've been pursuing a job up in Mass. I've been doing this primarily because I am tired of living a life where I have the possibility to open up my own franchise and make millions but in fact the possibility is slim. I'm not saying that I don't believe in the Domino's system and I do not think that I do not have the ability to do these things, but I'm 38 years old. I have a good 20-30 years left before I'm broken and run down and in need of retirement. I figure at best I can be into my own store in 7 years. Then I have to build it up into something great. I feel that I must focus on the now and the future in 30 years.

What I really do not want is to be stuck managing a store for a true billionaire for 15 years. Then be too feeble to do that anymore and just deliver for him until I die. Just to get by. So, I have been pursuing a job in the cryogenics field as a service technician. Something I did while in the USMC. It has a starting salary of about 3.5 times what I am making today and it has unbelievably great benefits. Insurance, 100% matching 401k, retirement pension, profit sharing, and a very nice sign on bonus, basically, the whole nine yards. So I mean damn. I was stoked at the possibilities but as you can imagine the road was a long one. I've done I don't know 5 interviews perhaps, 1 in person where they flew me to hartford, ct while the others were on the phone. I've had to go through a crazy mad background check which I'm sure my USMC service helped out. I also had to go through a head to toe physical to include blood work and urinalysis. I wasn't worried bout any of this cept the physical as I had a heart attack last year. But don't fret! I got the job!

So next Sunday I will be beginning a new chapter in my life. I am driving my 1990 Acura Integra up to Carney's Point, New Jersey for safety training and to meet the whole team! I'll be up there for 3 days or so then its down to NH where I will ride around with a current service tech for a couple weeks while staying in a hotel for 2 weeks while I await my sign on bonus and first check so I can have the funds to move my wife up there. I mean I cannot convey to everyone how stoked I am about this all. I know the cost of living up there will be mad compared to eastern North Carolina, but me and the wife have nothing to worry bout except us. We're planning on living modestly until she gets a job and we realize how living will be up there.

And about poker! I've been doing well imo. I've been up and down, but I'm really becoming more and more a student of the game. I am realizing the holes in my cash game which is still at .01/.02 and fixing them. I am positive bout 7bb/100 in that. But I am still addicted to the MTT's and typically blow cash gains in them. I cash very frequently in them and I even put myself in the position to win them but I keep getting too aggressive with @ 50-150 players left. I'll be sitting on a huge stack or even just a comfortable stack and will find a need to cbet flop and turn to someone holding a7 when I have ak and he hits his 7 on the river and bets out. Then I call of course and blow half to more of my stack. But I do recognize this and am struggling to repair this leak in my game. It is hard though as I am always looking to build my stack and cant seem to slow down for fear of getting chipped away.

But thats that. Where I've been where I'm going. Hope to see ya round people! I'll be around thats for sure. I can't wait for the mass move as well because I'm going to have some GREAT opportunities for live play!!!! YES!! And perhaps meet some of you damn blogging fools =P

Been Some Time

Well, I've really been outta the blogging scene, just don't feel it. Ya know?
I've come to the self realization that I'm just another fish in a sea of sharks and have tried to venture down another path in poker.

I won a couple tourneys on ft and ub bout a month before I left well won one and ft'd the other. A total of bout 600 bucks between the two sites. I quickly dumped all that by entering tourney after tourney which were way high outta my bankroll, culminating in a couple of rebuys on either site. Make a long story short I am not sure anymore if I was steaming or just donking but I lost the last of my bankrolls on both sites. .29 left on FT and 1.41 left on UB. That was back in April =P

Then on June 4th I was piddlin around on the sites lookin for freerolls and what not and realized I had 1.41 left on UB. So I've started working it. Got it up to 48 bucks at one point, have run into a bit of variance this past week so down to 41. But am in hopes of using proper br management and turning it into the Chris Ferguson 1 Dollah Experimant. I've been a member of Cardrunners for a while now and am utilizing the game theory, knowledge, and community I gain there to help me along this journey.

I've decided that TPP while exciting and brave is now officially dead. Dead until I can prove unto myself that I can grind this out and have a bankroll from less then a buck fiddy.

Ok, now that I've had my fix, I'd like to make a post bout the last few weeks. I'm settling down into a daily poker routine. I get home round 11 or so on the week nights and round 12 or so on the weekends. I typically get involved with the midnight madness on FT and something or other on UB. Sometimes I'll play more then two tourneys, but for the most part I'm attempting to limit my play and focus more upon those that I am playing. And I must say, its really starting to work out well for me. I've made two decent cashes in this time and I've cashed or bubbled in most others.

Last night sucked somewhat as I just cashed for minimum amount on ub and I played a pair of pocket bitches like shit on FT causing me to bubble, well click here to see that hand. I mean preflop I did well. After that however. I just needed to lay it down on the flop bet ol guy threw out there. I have thought about it and feel that his flop bet amounted to 1/3 of what he had left. This should of been like him jumping up and down saying dude, I have an ace! Or two! Perhaps I Could figure he'd have two kings but that would be a stretch and even so he'd still beat me! I knew I was beat when I called the 1k bet, but I just could not lay it down! WTF! I am finding myself having this problem lately. I'll know I'm beat, heck a couple weeks ago a friend was sitting next to me, I had hooks in a similar situation and turned to my buddy said I'm prolly beat but called anyways. Why can I not figure this out and lay them down!!!

I would like to take a moment now to comment on the rant I'm not going to get into about that donkeys call with a8 to my raise. Was my raise too big pf? Well, anyh00, no rant on his preflop play. As pathetic as it was.

But, I am aware of my problem and every time I come into that situation I will know I'm there again and will hopefully find the ability to start laying them down. I mean this really crippled me, I went from being in the top third to being in the bottom 20 in one foolish hand where I knew I was beat yet called anyway. This is why I am a fish.

Tournament Begining Play -- Online

Well, I figure I am going to talk a little bit how I begin my tournaments. I am going to qualify this by saying that I have had some success playing online tournaments, but really, I'm just a donkey who has probably lucked out for around 4k worth of winnings. I've won two mtt's, and finished on the final table in like 8 more out of say 200+ mtts online I've played. I have money'd countless times. I figure I've got a 10-20% money rate in my tourneys. Probably closer to the 10%.

That being said, I want to share with you my early game strategy... This strategy works exceptionally well on UB since they've got those dirt cheap blinds to start out with. But, basically I play an extremely lp game Loose and passive. I call with virtually any two cards. Well, no, not any two. I do have strict guidelines with a calling hand, but at the same time they include a very wide range. I love the suited connectors. Hell in the really cheap stages just any two connected cards will do and if they're s00ted and within 2-3 places of each other they will do as well. Once I call the bb by limping in mightily, I will typically call any raise up to 8bb. I do this just to give an impression of a calling station and two because if I hit with my 57s00ted, I'm going to get paid 95% of the time in a big way. Pocket pairs are great to play of course. I always limp with pp unless jj-aa. If jj-aa I will raise 3x-4x with jj-kk, and 2-6x with aa. The reason for the wide variance with aces is mainly blind size. I want to make at least a 15% of my stack raize here. I feel this is the right amount to protect from guys like me and enough to lure the "sharks" in to feed on my rockets. Course if I hit a set, if I have a terrible image I may just all in or I may just slow play and hope for a big bet from an aggressive guy. I've found that most people online are passive though and will not give you a bet. So much check raising going on round here people are scared.

So, now I'm rolling along calling my ass off and typically dwindling away to 1.2-1.3k after starting with 1.5. At this point if I've not hit anything I will tighten up to hoy hoy standards. Basically, I'll raise with pocket pairs and high s00ted connectors. I'll raise at least 3x the bb, but on some occassions I'll limp if I am afraid of giving that impression of now I got something so I'll raise. I want my table persona to be he could be calling or raising with anything, I want people to think I suck and am someone they can certainly outplay after the flop. So hopefully I've gotten that persona made and can get anyone to call a decent raise. And hopefully my hand will hit the flop. If its a high pair I'll pretty much be committed to it unless they play at me and I'm in position. If I'm outta position with a high pair I will push hard on the flop regardless. I'm in this to win and I need a big bump early to settle down into holdem foldem mode. So either my big pair holds or I go down really low.

If I do got down to the under 650 range, I am playing all in or nothing. Very occassionally I'll get a hand I try to limp in with but by now the blinds are escalating to a higher percentage of my stack then I can afford to play with. And you'll notice if a short stack limps a lot folks will pop it up whether or not they've a hand or not. I certainly do :). All in or nothing. That means I stick to the hoy hoy standards aa kk qq jj, ak, aq s00ted (depending on if I feel lucky). At times I will go a little below those standards like a small sooted connector but more often then not those will be the hands I try to limp on when short stackin it.

This style of play requires a great deal of discipline. It is very easy to call off more chips then you need to when you hit a str8 or flush draw on the flop. Typically I suggest dropping your hand if you do not hit the flop for real. Nuts. This style of play focuses on promoting a terrible self image and allowing your opponants to feel that you've got a weak hand while he calls off all his chips to you. So don't be that peron who has the weak hand while going all in trying to bluff yer opponant off. Drop your weak hands soon as they hit shit, push lightly and try to utilize position. If you're last to act make a 2/3 pot bet on flop if noone else has. If its called be careful of firin a second bullet. One thing bout online play is everyone and their fuckin brother thinks their gods gift to poker and check raises. I've never seen so much check raising as I've seen in the past month or so online. Its amazing. People cannot just bet out anymore. Even guys with top pair will check raise lol, hell I've seen someone check raise with a jack with a queen on the board. Its hillarious.

I've mentioned in a previous post that I was utilizing ub's deposit bonus from back in the day to rebuild my bankroll there. LoL. Well, I'm doing well. I've joined Cardrunners in an effort to become a better student of the game and am focusing primarily on the cash games.

Granted my cash games are .01/.02 nlh but I've managed to score about 20 bucks through them, utilizing solid poker and advice from cr. So I've taken this time off to finish up my lil blue book, almost done with hohII, but honestly, I cannot say that much has been added to the Trailer Park Poker rule set. The shit is just too strong my minions! I'm telling you, doubt me now, bow down before me when I'm ruling the circuit with TPP!

Anyways, I've chosen to hold off on another deposit for now... No, its not because my neteller account is negative and won't allow my Instacash transactions. It is because I've found that I've got almost 50 bucks in UBB waiting for me to unlock, not to mention the stars 10fpp free rolls I've been dominating. I don't know if ubb has eased up their bonus dollar releasing or something, but I can sit at a .01/.02 limit table and get about 1 ubb point per orbit which translates into 10 cents! Lol. So today I've been busily putting tpp into action in its rusty limit holdem sector or biddness. Basically I fold everything and bank 10 cent and lose 3 cent every orbit. If I catch a hand, so be it. But I will be doing this till I get like five bucks then perhaps do some sng action. Will ensur I keep like 50 cent available so I can start the process over lol.

As for the stars 10fpp free rolls. I cash in these donkfests pretty much every time I play in one. I don't cash much, maybe a quarter or so but I put that into the .25 tourney with $50 added. You saw my beat last night. Oh well. So, I am thinking I can score some chingaling here to bring tpp to the forefront of poker super stardom simply through freerolls. Well, having all this free time to reflect upon things and play freerolls, I'm begining to hone my donkament skills even further yet, I'm considering how exactly to proceed in poker.

I have no doubt as to my abilities in pokah, I know I've got the skill set to suck it out with the best of them. Its my feeling that I've never actually taken that step and put any true faith into my abilities. Make any sense? Doubtful. Well what I mean is I have never put my money where my mouth is. I've cashed big three times this last year, each time removing all my winnings save for a hundred or so, then played that carelessly in somewhat small chunks which reletively speaking were too large to be playing with, ie: 24+2 tourneys via token races etc. Once when I had a 2k cash, I cashed 1k and kept in 1k and burned it on 5 tourneys thinking that "this was it, the time was now!" LOL!!! It was around wsop time and I was desperatly trying to get in. Played all kinds of satelites on ft to include the 100 seat guarrantee which I bought in directly for. Needless to say I donked that k off in about 4 weeks. Well here was my tourney selection for that. $500 100 seat guarrantee, 200+16 sunday tourney x2, 100+10 sat tourney x2, so in fact I donked 1.1k in 1 a month.

But enough of that! Right now, I've been working on the becoming a better student of the game, stumbled upon Cardrunners, been attempting to get a handle on the spew of information on 2+2. Jebus, there is too much information there! But some good stuff! Some shit too I'd imagine. I don't necessarily wish to screw with my game as I feel it is somewhat good in the area of donkaments. I do see a very strong need to develope a cash game. So this is where I think I am going. But I feel I need to work on my bankroll by truly putting forth some serious efforts on some sng's.

I am also certainly feel a need to join up with cardrunners. Not so much that I feel they are a get rich thru poker scheme, but I do feel like they've got an awesome training tool and I wish to utilize it to improve my game!

All in all, I'm enjoying my time spent away from the day to day grind of TPP and figuring out the course of axchun that I will be taking when I decide to push forward again. Where I'll be playing, Full Tilt? PokerStars? UltimateBet? The new Cake Poker? Not sure. I would love to split two deposits between Stars and FT I think, but I've made a good amount of money on UB as well. But I'm thinking I want to put all my hopes into one site for the time being and I think the site should be the one with the most axchun, probably stars. Anyone have any ideas where I should go play? Doubtful too many are even reading.. Much less reading this far into a post.

Well, I still think its ghey to publicize my goals and what not for pokah, but really, who am I to concern myself about appearances? :) Honestly hehe... I have always felt that in life you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. I have in fact never failed to accomplish a goal I've set for myself. Perhaps my fault in life has not been the ability, its been the inability to make continuation goals. I meet my goals and don't come back to them and raise the bar. I slide into restlessness, laziness I guess. So, lets decide now that in the area of my life which pertains to poker, I will never fail to make continuation goals. Enough babbling, onward with my 2007 Poker Goals:

Well this is it people... Busto time.. This is the moment in time where I've made the decision to play my last dollah. I'll probably delete this post come morning after I've gone bust, but ... Well, No I won't. Either way...

Its not like I am going to quite poking it, its not like I'll quite blogging it, its just that right now, at this moment, I'm putting in the last buck.twennyfife, for that last sng till I can scrape up another buy in. And to be honest, I'm kinda feeling good about it. I feel like the next buy in will be a big one. It may be a bit in coming but I will use that time to finish the two books I've been piddling thru, Phil Gordons new Little Blue Book, and of course Harringtons, volume 2. But, when I do buy in again, it will be for at least 275 which will be 25 10+1 sng's.

I feel like one of the things which holds me back in cash games is that I only play at nickle, dime. So my next buy in will be substantial enough to allow for me to play doller/2 doller. Well actually, it will enable me to play higher lvl sng's... I'm goin to play 10 doller sng's till I get ahead enough to buy in at 1/2 nl. Or I'll bust again. one of the primary reasons I go bust is my continual stubborness to play 24+2 tourneys on ft at 10pm ;) I will play 8 dollah token races out my ass. My problem is, I can cash in these tourneys frequently but I spend too much on the tokens and the misses. I need to focus upon what works for me, ie sng's. I've done extraordinarily well these last two weeks on sng's. Granted they are 1 doller sng's but out of the perhaps 15 I've entered, I've cashed 10 of them. Won 4 of them. 2n'd 2 of them. But even with this run, I've put a majority of these winnings into 5 doller, 10 doller, 3 doller, 1 doller mtt's. I've cashed in many, but of course not made a solid win.

So rather then buying in for 50 bucks next time I buy in. We're going for enough to play 25 10+1 sngs. And nothing else will be played unless we're above $275. I'm looking forward to it. I think it will be the turning point in my poker.

Well hell, on my daily blog surf I came across a contest that CC had in December where he's taking on three players to become his lil protege's. Holy Shite. And my favorite Canadian Kat is one of them! She's such a flirty wench, I know she just batted her eyes for that spot! But she deserves it, I hope as well that it turns her around in poking the pokery god's favor.

At first I was somewhat disappointed in that I missed out on the opportunity to take some poker training from someone whom is fairly well accomplished in it. Then I thought to myself, hell, I'm starting up a whole new form of poker here, why should I even concern myself with learning information which I know will just be old rehashes of everything I heard on that show Learn from the Pros. So I'll just sit back, relax and concentrate upon Trailer Park Poker and building it into the force of power which it will become in the poker world. I can't wait till my first book is published, How I Made Millions With Trailer Park Poker, Man, I can just see my name in the lights now...

As for the poker front, I'm having some difficulties managing my bankroll right now. I've diagnosed this as a fundamental flaw within TPP and am working at understanding what will be necessary to exterminate said flaw from the otherwise solid game. I think its the fact that TPP really lays it premises upon the sink or swim principle. The problem is, if you do too much sinking, you eventually drown! I don't know. One thing about tpp which seems to really hurt me, is the fact that it is not geared at all towards cash games. I simply cannot have a winning session in a ring game. Just as soon as I double up my buy in, I lose it again to tptk. LoL gd it why can't I lay down tptk? Jebus!

Smooth Running

Whew I intstalled that pokertracker stuff, went into my full tilt hand history folder, deleted all non 2007 hands then ran it on what I've done in 2007. Well before last nights tourneys I had 640 hands in 2007. LOL. Man, that shit is crazy. I wonder how many hands I've played online period. I just play and play and play and play.

Lately, I've been running really smooth. I really broke down a week or so ago flipping out in a rebuy event on PS crippling me there. So I come back and cripple my full tilt account too somehow bringing it way down. Like 1.25 down, lol. Well, that was about a week ago and I've managed to play some mad poker on that. To include nightly midnight madness events, multiple 5 dollah, 2 dollah, 3 dollah mtt's. So I am keeping alive demolishing the buck 25 sng's lol, but moreso then that, I'm just so close.

In all these events I've been playing in I've cashed or typically made it close to cash. A few I rocked out early, but typically due to bad ones of course. I recognize the quality of my play and the moves I'm able to make. TPP is evolving into something which is goin to take me somewhere this year I feel. I'm not makin any promises, but keep yer eye on the King baby! This is the year for T0mmy2T0ne the King of Trailer Park Poker! I can feel it baby! Can you? Yeah baby, YEAH! WOOOOHOOOO! Oh shit, I get all excited and stuff.. Whew, gotta watch that blood pressure! Damn! Oh yeah..

So I've been trying to save screenshots of online hands, I have been a lot, but I just haven't really had the nuts or patience to post them here and give the rundown on how tpp plays various hands. I know its killing you guys that I've baited you all with the promises of lessons in tpp, but they'll come kind ladies and gentlemens, just have patience. The king of Trailer Park Poker has passed through a new year once again. And in true trailer park style we had a few cohorts over, family and friends. Yeah baby, yeah. Oh my gawd too much alcohol. TOOO much alcohool, ug. Then the champagne (sham pag nee), ug, now that was the kicker. Oh but shitters, I was playin with the deck of cards after we finished up the game and I was off to try the old maverick trick. You know the one where he cuts the deck to an ace? Oh Mah Gawd, I cut to the Ace of Spades! I dunno, guess its just me, but that is my foreteller of a steller year for TPP in 07 baby! Yeah!

So That was that! Poker wise, we had a friendly cash game going on uber low limits of course nickel diming it. I made it up a doller lol the old lady made like the rest of the money. I'm tellin ya its so funny watching my wifes kid play. He's like all in every hand by the end of it. Calls everything. Kid did pull out some Quad aces though, that was pretty amazing, amazing in that I felt that he had shit and was just going all in again when his girlfriend put the raise on him. LOL. I guess that he did forld one or two hands but let his girlfriend get into a pot with him. If that were the case, they'd both be all in by the end of it. Funny shit. Funny Shit.

What else, oh well, you know, I took a movie video thing, I am gunna try to figure out how to plug that shit up and upload it here so you can see all the sinful joy going on. I've not yet finalized my goals, resolutions for 2007 as many of you guys have, I think thats kinda ghey anyways. Why you wanna go braggin bout yer goals? You someone special? The king doesn't play that crazy shit, I'm just a tpp supah star and I'm comfortable with the power and prestiege that it brings me. I uphold the image of King TPP with dignity and pride!

Here is the situation. I'm in a token race and Newinnov is to my left, he just took a hefty hit on a less then spectacular hand and this is what I wake up to. Now the object here is simply to finish 5th place or better so why would you make this call King Tommy? Well here is my thinking.

I've got s00ted semi connected cards which can result in the best flush of all.
I probably will lose which will send me packing pretty much.
If I do suck out and win, I will be set for the tournament more then likely. (I think some people call this implied odds)

**** Tourney Revisited ***

This hand while insignificant as it may seem was the turning point of the tournament for me. I was able to sit back, pick and choose my battles until in the end, there could be only one. And it was me. I am not sure about all the various odds in poker, I understand them and recognize the value of determining them, but honestly I like to use my instinct to evaluate the value of a hand. Perhaps this is my mistake in poker, but in my opinion, if I get this instinct honed effectively it will be a much more powerful weapon then learning the ins and outs of the math. Don't get me wrong, I do figure simple pot odds and the rule of 2 and 4, but there are plenty of times when these rules simply could never justify making what I consider to be tournament winning decisions. I've never won a big tournament over say 200 players where I went into every hand ahead. NEVER.. Have you? Oh, I guess I must qualify this further by saying that I have won more then one MTT =P, I just can't seem to win more then 3 :)

Well, I've just about gotten this place set up all cozy like and all. I've been somewhat killin it at poker of late. NOT! I was on this rampage where I was stealing all kinds of money off the poker bloggers thru the weekly online home games. I was killing it at stars on their low limit rebuy tourneys for 5 and 3 dollars. Then I ran into a 5 dollar rebuy and just went nuts, I killed my roll there but had won entry into the weekly million tourney. Needless to say I lasted all of 20 minutes. So stupid, can you say pocket 8's with a ten on the board? Ohh.. Kayyy. Nice one Tommy. Knew I should have just cashed out that entry for tourney dollars. Oh well.

So I head back to full tilt and have just been getting abused there too. I've lost every token race I've gotten into like 6 in a row, I've not made a cash in any mtt I've been in for a week and I'm suckin hind teat. I've managed to win a sng and cash in another to keep my bankroll entact but damn this shit is starting to piss me off. I mean I realize my style of poker does lend itself to some big variance, but I cannot learn a new style. I do try to learn from my mistakes, I like to try and come here to discuss them. For instance, last night I was in a 5 dollah tourney on ft and was doing great, I was 12 of 65. Somehow I go out in 63 when cash was at 54. I mean, really. Do I need to explain my hand selection to you, for you to realize that I'm just a dumbass sometimes? All I had to do was sit there and fold everything till I got Jacks or better and play them cautiously. Instead I go trying to play some hands out, chase some VERY good draws with 15+ outs only to relieve myself of 5 bucks so close to making a couple. Very frustrating. I know you've felt the same way, its my understanding that we all have.

Whether or not I will be able to continue on and make that mark I so desperately want to make is beyond me. I am to the point of saying to hell with it all, but fuck it, I'll keep on keeping on. And I've now gotten a new place to blog bout it, so thats somewhat cool. I have some crazy plans for the next year, hopefully will make them all come about. Will have fun trying to get there!

I apologize for my abandonment of the uberly prolific tommy2tone.net, but honestly folks, between, figuring out how to do all the web shit I was making it do, ie gallery, wordpress, themes, it was more trouble then I felt like was worth my time. I will try to figure out neato cool ways to make this page phat and shit, but it will be my new poker site. I guess I could re-up my wordpress site to transfer some posts and all but I figure why bother.
